Indigo and 4G/5G connection
Overview
For effective account management in Indigo, using different IP addresses for each browser profile is crucial. While proxies are commonly used, 4G/5G mobile connections offer an alternative approach.
Important Note
Unlike proxies that can assign different IPs to individual profiles, a 4G/5G connection changes the IP for your entire device. In this case, we recommend running one profile.
Connection Types Comparison
Feature | 4G/5G Connection | Proxy Connection |
---|---|---|
IP Change Scope | Entire device | Individual profiles |
Launching Profiles | Recommend one profile | Multiple profiles |
Setup Complexity | Simple, requires mobile device/modem | Requires proxy configuration |
Using Mobile USB Proxy Farms
You can enhance your setup using a mobile proxy farm with USB dongles:
- Each dongle functions as a separate proxy
- Requires unique configuration:
- IP address
- Port number
- Username
